Stop Unidentified Weapon Testing?
Just curious to see if ANET plans on closing this loophole any time soon. Can't a simple code change like making un-ID'd items un-equippable fix this exploit?
PS: If this post is a violation of any rules, please delete it. I saw no previous mention of this topic through any searches.

IMO the best way to fix weapon testing is to make unided weapons act like they have no mods before they are identified. It's fair for everybody - sellers can still sell unid weapons and buyers can buy unid weapons knowing it's a fair gamble. And you can still equip them unid (if, for some reason, you want to use it).

Yeah, it's rather annoying seing people selling Uni'd weapons after testing them.
I think it's a kind of scam.
'Look this weapon uni'd, might be prety good, want to buy it?'
Then some guy buys it for 10k++ and gets a 200g weapon after Identifying it.
Yeah, I know, nobody put a gun in the buyer head...
Simple Solution: make the uni'd Items un-tradable.

I'm against making them un-tradable though. A person with multiple accounts could pick up a nice unidentified bow on their primary account and want to move it over to his/her other account to identify for the possibility of a PvP unlock.

Yeah, you're right, forgot about that...
But LuxA's theory is very good! (Was writing my post when she/he posted)

This would work equally well too, though my original suggestion is easier to implement code-wise.

this thread prove to be very useless to me.
anet has much programming to do and making it impossible to just check for:
vampiric,zealous,fortitude,insightful,elements(if youre smart)
that just a waste of time...
